How It Works

KardtriK is built on a simple idea:

What you repeatedly see and think about before sleep tends to continue in your dreams.

This is sometimes called the Tetris effect.

KardtriK uses the ordinary deck to harness that effect.

1. The Deck Becomes a System

Each card is given a keyword, an image, and a mnemonic hook.

Over time, the deck becomes a compact symbolic language.

You are no longer just seeing cards—you are seeing meanings.

2. Play Before Sleep

KardtriK is designed to be played in short sessions, often as a form of solitaire.

The play is repetitive, visual, simple, and focused.

The goal is not to win a game. The goal is to load the mind with symbols.

3. The Symbols Persist

After playing, the symbols continue.

As you fall asleep:

images repeat, patterns continue, and fragments reappear.

KardtriK uses this deliberately.

4. The Cards Enter the Dream

Because the symbols are already active, they appear in dreams.

They recombine, distort, and evolve.

Sometimes this leads to a moment of recognition:

“This is a dream.”

That moment can trigger lucid dreaming— realizing you are dreaming while still inside the dream.

KardtriK carries symbols into dreams, where they can ignite lucidity.

5. Dreaming Becomes Part of the System

KardtriK does not require dreams to be verified or measured.

Dreams can be remembered, partially remembered, or retold as story.

The system works through imagination, repetition, and symbolic association.

The boundary between dream and story is part of the play.

6. It Deepens

At first, KardtriK is simple: cards, images, repetition.

Over time, it becomes a mnemonic system, a creativity tool, and a way of shaping attention.

It is a way of entering and influencing dream space.

The cards enter the dream. Lucidity follows.
